Your files never leave your device. All file processing happens directly in your browser using JavaScript. We don't upload, store, or have access to any files you process with Master Merge.

What we don't collect

• Email addresses
• Payment information (the service is free)
• Usage analytics on individual files

How file processing works

When you upload a file to Master Merge, it is loaded into your browser's memory using JavaScript APIs (FileReader, ArrayBuffer). The file is processed using client-side libraries (pdf-lib for PDFs, SheetJS for spreadsheets, etc.) entirely within your browser. The processed output is generated locally and offered for download. At no point does any file data leave your device or pass through our servers.

Website hosting

Master Merge is a static web application. Standard web server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) may be collected by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes. These logs do not contain any information about the files you process.

Cookies

Master Merge does not use cookies for tracking. We may use essential cookies required for the website to function properly.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
